Texas Visitation Rights for Fathers

Some women will do anything to deny or limit a father's ability to regularly visit and maintain a relationship with his child. Nothing could be more tragic or reprehensible unless truly warranted because of abuse or neglect.

In Texas, there is a standard guideline (known as the "Standard Possession Order") for the non-primary custodial parent's presumed minimum amount of possession of the children. Often, however, my clients are excellent fathers who want to be more than just a “minimum” parent and want as much time with their children as possible without necessarily “fighting for custody.”
